ahmad:18873Yaḥyá b. Abū Bukayr > Zuhayr > Abū Isḥāq > ʿAbd al-Jabbār b. Wāʾil > Wāʾil

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placing his right hand on top of his left hand during prayer, near the wrist, and he would raise his hands when going into the obligatory position until they reached his ears. I prayed behind him and he recited the verse "not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray" [Al-Fatiha 7], and he said "Ameen" aloud.  

أحمد:١٨٨٧٣حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ عَنْ وَائِلٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الرُّسْغِ وَيَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ يُوجِبُ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَا أُذُنَيْهِ وَصَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَهُ فَقَرَأَ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ} [الفاتحة 7] فَقَالَ آمِينَ يَجْهَرُ
