ahmad:17943Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Ibn Lahīʿah > Ḥafṣ b. Hāshim b. ʿUtbah b. Abū Waqqāṣ > al-Sāʾib b. Yazīd from his father

[Machine] It was narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ used to make supplication, he would raise his hands and pass them over his face with his hands. Abdullah said that they differed from Qutaibah in the chain of narration of this hadith, and I think that Qutaibah and those with him were referring to Khalad ibn Al-Sa'ib, who narrated from his father.
