ahmad:1729ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī > Ayyūb > Muḥammad > al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī And Ibn ʿAbbās Raʾayā Janāzah Faqām Aḥaduhumā And Qaʿad al-Ākhar

[Machine] "Al-Hasan ibn Ali and Ibn Abbas saw a funeral procession. One of them stood up while the other remained seated. The one who stood up said, 'Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stand up?' The one who remained seated replied, 'Yes, but he also sat down.'"  

أحمد:١٧٢٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ

أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَأَيَا جَنَازَةً فَقَامَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَقَعَدَ الْآخَرُ فَقَالَ الَّذِي قَامَ أَلَمْ يَقُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ الَّذِي قَعَدَ بَلَى وَقَعَدَ
