No contagion, evil omens, and plague quarantine

ahmad:1554Ismāʿīl > Hishām al-Dastuwāʾī > Yaḥyā b. Abī Kathīr > al-Ḥaḍramī b. Lāḥiq > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyib > Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ

[AI] "There is no contagion, no evil omen, and no hamah. If an evil omen were in anything, it would be in the horse, the woman, and the house. If you hear of plague in a land, do not go down to it. And if it is in a land while you are there, do not flee from it."
