ahmad:15423 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq And Rawḥ > Ibn Jurayj > Ḥasan b. Muslim > Ṭāwus

[Machine] Narrated by a man who had met the Prophet, ﷺ . The Prophet, ﷺ , said: "Indeed, the tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba) is a form of prayer. So when you perform tawaf, reduce your speech." Abdullah said: My father narrated this hadith from a man who heard it from the Prophet, ﷺ .  

أحمد:١٥٤٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَزَّاقِ وَرَوْحٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ

عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّمَا الطَّوَافُ صَلَاةٌ فَإِذَا طُفْتُمْ فَأَقِلُّوا الْكَلَامَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَبِي وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍحَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
