Ali's status like Harun to Musa

I disliked telling him that his son had told it to me, lest he become angry with him. Then he said, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on the expedition of Tabuk, he appointed Ali over Madinah." Ali said, "O Messenger of Allah, I would not like you to go out on any expedition unless I am with you." So he said, "Are you not pleased to be to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?"
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَعْدٍ فَقُلْتُ: حَدِيثًا حُدِّثْتُهُ عَنْكَ، حِينَ اسْتَخْلَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلِيًّا عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ. قَالَ: فَغَضِبَ، فَقَالَ: مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ بِهِ؟ فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أُخْبِرَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَهُ حَدَّثَنِيهِ، فَيَغْضَبَ عَلَيْهِ. ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، حِينَ خَرَجَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ، اسْتَخْلَفَ عَلِيًّا عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا كُنْتُ أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ وَجْهًا إِلَّا وَأَنَا مَعَكَ. فَقَالَ «أَوَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي».
