Ali's status like Harun to Musa

ahmad:1532ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Qatādah > ʿAlī b. Zayd b. Judʿān > Ibn al-Musayyib > ibn li-Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ > Saʿd b. Abī Waqqāṣ

[AI] I entered upon Saad and said, "A report about you was told to me, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed Ali over Madinah." He became angry and said, "Who told you that?" I disliked telling him that his son had told it to me, lest he become angry with him. Then he said, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on the expedition of Tabuk, he appointed Ali over Madinah." Ali said, "O Messenger of Allah, I would not like you to go out on any expedition unless I am with you." So he said, "Are you not pleased to be to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?"
