[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever eats seven Ajwa dates from between the two lava tracts of Medina on an empty stomach, nothing will harm him that day until evening." Fulayh said, "And I think he said: "And if he eats them in the evening, nothing will harm him until morning."" Umar said, "Be careful, O Aamir, about what you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, "I bear witness that I did not lie about Saad, and Saad did not lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

أحمد:١٤٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَ عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، وَهُوَ أَمِيرٌ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، أَنَّ سَعْدًا قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ أَكَلَ سَبْعَ تَمَرَاتِ عَجْوَةٍ مِنْ بَيْنَ لَابَتَيِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَلَى الرِّيقِ، لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ». قَالَ فُلَيْحٌ: وَأَظُنُّهُ قَالَ: «وَإِنْ أَكَلَهَا حِينَ يُمْسِي لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْءٌ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ». فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: انْظُرْ يَا عَامِرُ مَا تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ. فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ مَا كَذَبْتُ عَلَى سَعْدٍ، وَمَا كَذَبَ سَعْدٌ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ.
