[Machine] He heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying that a man freed a boy during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who had no wealth except for him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Who will buy him from me?" Nuaim ibn Abdullah said, "I will buy him from you." So he bought him. Umar said, "Jabir said he was a Coptic slave boy and he died in the first year, and Abu Zubair added that his name was Ya'qub."  

أحمد:١٤١٣٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ غُلَامًا لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ يَبْتَاعُهُ مِنِّي فَقَالَ نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَا أَبْتَاعُهُ فَابْتَاعَهُ فَقَالَ عَمْرٌو قَالَ جَابِرٌ غُلَامٌ قِبْطِيٌّ وَمَاتَ عَامَ الْأَوَّلِ زَادَ فِيهَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ يُقَالُ لَهُ يَعْقُوبُ
