[Machine] No day or time will come upon you, except that which follows it is worse than it, as I have heard it from your Prophet ﷺ.
لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمٌ أَوْ زَمَانٌ إِلَّا الَّذِي بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ
Patience in times of oppression
We came to Anas b. Malik and complained to him about what we were suffering from al-Hajjaj. He said: "Be patient, for no time will come upon you except that the one after it will be worse than it, until you meet your Lord." I heard it from your Prophet ﷺ.
أَتَيْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ فَشَكَوْنَا إِلَيْهِ مَا نَلْقَى مِنَ الْحَجَّاجِ. فَقَالَ: «اصْبِرُوا، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ زَمَانٌ إِلَّا الَّذِي بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ». سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ.
We went to Anas bin Malik and complained about the wrong we were suffering at the hand of Al- Hajjaj. Anas bin Malik said, "Be patient till you meet your Lord, for no time will come upon you but the time following it will be worse than it. I heard that from the Prophet." اصْبِرُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ عَامٌ أَوْ يَوْمٌ إِلَّا الَّذِي بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ مِنْهُ حَتَّى تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ
[Machine] "No time will come upon you except that it is worse than the time before it. We heard this from your Prophet, ﷺ , twice."
