[Machine] On the day of Hudaybiyah, eighty men from the people of Makkah descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions, armed and coming from the direction of Jabal Tan‘im. He supplicated against them, and they were captured. Then this verse was revealed: "And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He had caused you to overcome them" [Al-Fath 24]. He meant Jabal Tan‘im from Makkah.  

أحمد:١٢٢٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ هَبَطَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ فِي السِّلَاحِ مِنْ قِبَلِ جَبَلِ التَّنْعِيمِ فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ فَأُخِذُوا وَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ بَعْدِ أَنْأَظْفَرَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ} [الفتح 24] قَالَ يَعْنِي جَبَلَ التَّنْعِيمِ مِنْ مَكَّةَ

abudawud:2688 – Mūsá b. Ismāʿīl > Ḥammād > Thābit > Anas

Anas said “Eighty Meccans came down from the mountain of Al Tan’im against the Prophet ﷺ and his Companions at the (time of the) dawn prayer to kill them. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ took them captive without fighting and the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ set them free. Thereupon Allaah Most High sent down “He it is Who averted their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Makkah,” till the end of the verse.  

أبو داود:٢٦٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ ثَمَانِينَ رَجُلاً مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ هَبَطُوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابِهِ مِنْ جِبَالِ التَّنْعِيمِ عِنْدَ صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ لِيَقْتُلُوهُمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَلَمًا فَأَعْتَقَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ { وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ بِبَطْنِ مَكَّةَ } إِلَى آخِرِ الآيَةِ

nasai-kubra:8614 – Muḥammad b. Nāfiʿ > Bahz > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Thābit > Anas

[Machine] On the day of Hudaybiyah, eighty men from the people of Makkah descended upon the Prophet ﷺ from the mountain of Tan'im. They said, "We will capture Muhammad and his companions." The Prophet ﷺ greeted them peacefully and then pardoned them. Allah, the blessed and exalted, revealed the following verse, "And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them" [Surah Al-Fath, verse 24].  

الكبرى للنسائي:٨٦١٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

هَبَطَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ ثَمَانُونَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ مِنْ جَبَلِ التَّنْعِيمِ فَقَالُوا نَأْخُذُ مُحَمَّدًا وَأَصْحَابَهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سِلْمًا ثُمَّ عَفَا عَنْهُمْ فَأَنزَلَ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى {وَهُوَ الَّذِي كَفَّ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَنْكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ} [الفتح 24]

[Machine] Eighty men from the people of Makkah descended upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions from the mountain of Tan’im during the Fajr prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ captured them but forgave them. And the Quran was revealed: {It is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within the area of Makkah after He caused you to overpower them} [Al-Fath, 24].  

البيهقي:١٨٠٣٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَهْلٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرَوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ خَنَبٍ الْبُخَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ
