[Machine] A woman met the Prophet ﷺ on a road from the outskirts of the city. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a need to speak to you." He said, "O mother of so-and-so, sit wherever you like on the sides of the road, and I will sit with you." So she sat down, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat with her until she finished her matter.  

أحمد:١٢١٩٧حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً لَقِيَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي طَرِيقٍ مِنْطُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً قَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ اجْلِسِي فِي أَيِّ نَوَاحِي السِّكَكِ شِئْتِ أَجْلِسْ إِلَيْكِ قَالَ فَقَعَدَتْ فَقَعَدَ إِلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا

A woman came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: Messenger of Allah: I have some need with you. He said to her: Mother of so and so, sit in the corner of any street you wish and I shall sit with you. So she sat and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also sat with her till she fulfilled her need. The narrator Ibn 'Isa did not mention "till she fulfilled her need." And Kathir said: from Humaid on the authority of Anas.  

أبو داود:٤٨١٨حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى بْنِ الطَّبَّاعِ وَكَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ قَالَ ابْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً فَقَالَ لَهَا يَا أُمَّ فُلاَنٍ اجْلِسِي فِي أَىِّ نَوَاحِي السِّكَكِ شِئْتِ حَتَّى أَجْلِسَ إِلَيْكِ قَالَ فَجَلَسَتْ فَجَلَسَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ ابْنُ عِيسَى حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا وَقَالَ كَثِيرٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was on a journey with some of his companions when a woman approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have a request for you." He said, "O mother of so-and-so, sit wherever you want along the road, and I will sit next to you to fulfill your need." So she sat down and he sat with her until she had completed her request.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي طَرِيقٍ مَعَهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَلَقِيَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ اجْلِسِي فِي أَيِّ نَوَاحِي السِّكَكِ شِئْتِ أَجْلِسْ إِلَيْكِ فَفَعَلَتْ فَجَلَسَ إِلَيْهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا
