[Machine] Waki` is predominant, and he is the father-in-law of Abu Ghalib according to what Anas said. He was brought the funeral of a man and stood by the head of the bed. Then he was brought the funeral of a woman and he stood below the bottom of the bed. When he finished praying, Al-Ala' bin Ziyad said to him, "O Abu Hamzah, was this how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stand for both men and women, similar to what I have seen you do?" He replied, "Yes." Then Al-Ala' bin Ziyad approached us and said, "Remember."
