[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stated that there was a rain of golden locusts upon Ayub (Job). Abdus Samad said that it was feathers, so he started to collect them. Ayub said, "Did I not suffice for you?" Ayub said, "O Lord, who can be satisfied with Your mercy or bounty?" Abdus Samad said, "Yes, but I am not self-sufficient without Your bounty."  

أحمد:١٠٦٣٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَعَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ الْمَعْنَى عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أُمْطِرَ عَلَى أَيُّوبَ جَرَادٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ فَرَاشٌ فَجَعَلَ يَلْتَقِطُهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّوبُ أَلَمْ أُوَسِّعْ عَلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ وَمَنْ يَشْبَعُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لَا غِنًى بِي عَنْ فَضْلِكَ
