[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "A gold locust was sent upon Job (Ayub), and he started picking them up. Allah asked him, 'Did I not make you rich, O Job?' He said, 'O Lord, who can ever be satiated from Your mercy or from Your favor?'"  

أحمد:١٠٣٥٣حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أُرْسِلَ عَلَى أَيُّوبَ جَرَادٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَجَعَلَ يَلْتَقِطُهُ فَقَالَ أَلَمْ أُغْنِكَ يَا أَيُّوبُ؟ فَقَالَ يَا رَبِّ وَمَنْ يَشْبَعُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stated that there was a rain of golden locusts upon Ayub (Job). Abdus Samad said that it was feathers, so he started to collect them. Ayub said, "Did I not suffice for you?" Ayub said, "O Lord, who can be satisfied with Your mercy or bounty?" Abdus Samad said, "Yes, but I am not self-sufficient without Your bounty."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أُمْطِرَ عَلَى أَيُّوبَ جَرَادٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ فَرَاشٌ فَجَعَلَ يَلْتَقِطُهُ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّوبُ أَلَمْ أُوَسِّعْ عَلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ وَمَنْ يَشْبَعُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ أَوْ قَالَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لَا غِنًى بِي عَنْ فَضْلِكَ
