[Machine] I was sent by Umm Al-Darda to Nuf Al-Bikali and to another man who used to tell stories in the mosque. She said to tell them both to fear Allah and let their admonition be for the benefit of the people as well as for themselves.  

الزهد لأحمد:٩٨١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

أَرْسَلَتْنِي أُمُّ الدَّرْداءِ إِلَى نَوْفٍ الْبِكَالِيِّ وَإِلَى رَجُلٍ آخَرَ كَانَ يَقُصُّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَتْ قُلْ لَهُمَا اتَّقِيَا اللَّهَ وَلْتَكُنْ مَوْعِظَتُكُمَا لِلنَّاسِ لِأَنْفُسِكُمَا
