ahmad-zuhd:930ʿAbdullāh > Abū Maʿmar > Ibn ʿUyaynah And ʾAbū Usāmah > Misʿar

[Machine] Abdul Al-A'la Al-Taimi used to say in his prostration, "O Lord, increase our humility to You as Your enemies increase in enmity towards us. And do not turn our faces towards the fire after prostration to You."  

الزهد لأحمد:٩٣٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى التَّيْمِيُّ يَقُولُ فِي سُجُودِهِ رَبِّ زِدْنَا لَكَ خُشُوعًا كَمَا زَادَ أَعْدَاؤُكَ نُفُورًا وَلَا تَكُبَّنَّ وُجُوهَنَا فِي النَّارِ مِنْ بَعْدِ السُّجُودِ لَكَ
