[Machine] Khadijah, the mother of Muhammad, told me in the year one hundred and twenty-six, she used to come to my father to listen to him and tell us. She said: "Isaac al-Azraq told us, who was told by al-Mas`udi, who said: Awn ibn Abdullah said: We used to sit with Umm ad-Darda and remember Allah in her presence. They said to her, 'Perhaps we have tired you?' She said, 'Do you think that you have tired me? I have sought worship in everything, but I have not found anything that soothes my heart and strengthens my faith more than the gatherings of remembrance.'"
