ahmad-zuhd:869ʿAbdullāh from my father > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Mujālid > ʿĀmir > Masrūq > a man ʿInd ʿAbdullāh Mā Uḥib

[Machine] "To be among the people of the Right, to be among the closest to me, is beloved to me." So he said, "But here is a man who used to be a close friend of mine, but when he died he was not resurrected, meaning himself."  

الزهد لأحمد:٨٦٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرٌ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مَا أُحِبُّ

أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ أَكُونُ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ لَكِنْ هَاهُنَا رَجُلٌ وَدَانَهُ إِذَا مَاتَ لَمْ يُبْعَثْ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ
