[Machine] That he came to the Holy Land, and Salman wrote to him: Indeed, the land does not sanctify anyone, but rather a person's actions which sanctify them. I have heard that you have been appointed as a doctor, so if you heal, then good for you. But if you harm or kill someone, then be careful, for you may enter the fire. And Abu ad-Darda, when he finished judging between two people and turned away from them, he looked at them and said, "You are both doctors, by Allah, return to me and present your case again."
أَنْ هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ سَلْمَانُ إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لَا تُقَدِّسُ أَحَدًا وَإِنَّمَا يُقَدِّسُ الْإِنْسَانَ عَمَلُهُ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكَ جُعِلْتَ طَبِيبًا فَإِنْ كُنْتَ تُبْرِئُ فَنِعِمَّا لَكَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مُتَطَبِّبًا فَاحْذَرْ أَنْ تَقْتُلَ إِنْسَانًا؛ فَيُدْخِلُكَ النَّارَ وَكَانَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ إِذَا قَضَى بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَا عَنْهُ نَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمَا وَقَالَ مُتَطَبِّبٌ وَاللَّهِ ارْجِعَا إِلَيَّ أَعِيدَا عَلَيَّ قَضِيَّتَكُمَا
