ahmad-zuhd:796ʿAbdullāh from my father > Jarīr > Layth > Shahr

[Machine] Abu Dhar, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "Whoever wears famous clothing or rides a famous animal, I will turn away from him, even if he is generous to me as long as he is upon that."  

الزهد لأحمد:٧٩٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ شَهْرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ مَنْ لَبِسَ مَشْهُورًا مِنَ الثِّيَابِ أوْ رَكِبَ مَشْهُورًا مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ أَعْرَضَ ﷻ عَنْهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ كَرِيمًا عَلَيْهِ مَادَامَ عَلَيْهِ
