[Machine] Uthman ibn Affan was invited to a people who were on an evil matter, so he went out to them and found them scattered, and he saw a reprehensible matter. He praised Allah that he did not meet them and he freed a slave.  

الزهد لأحمد:٦٩٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى

«أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ دُعِيَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ كَانُوا عَلَى أَمْرٍ قَبِيحٍ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ فَوَجَدَهُمْ قَدْ تَفَرَّقُوا وَرَأَى أَمْرًا قَبِيحًا فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ إِذْ لَمْ يُصَادِفْهُمْ وَأَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً»
