الزهد لأحمد:٦٨٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أبِي حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَبُو بِشْرٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ أَنَّ غُلَامَ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ تَزَوَّجَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى عُثْمَانَ وَهُوَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنِّي صَائِمٌ غَيْرَ أَنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ

أَنْ أُجِيبَ الدَّعْوَةَ وَأَدْعُو بِالْبَرَكَةِ»
