[Machine] Umar had chosen a pearl, and when Uthman came, he chose a pearl even harder than it.  

الزهد لأحمد:٥٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ قَالَ

«كَانَ عُمَرُ قَدْ اتَّخَذَ دِرَّةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُثْمَانُ ؓ اتَّخَذَ دِرَّةً أَشَدَّ مِنْهَا»
