When the sacrifice was diverted from him and he was commanded to sacrifice the ram, he slaughtered it and returned to his home in the evening, a month's journey in one night. The valleys and mountains became easy for him (to traverse)."
«لَمَّا رَأَى إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فِي الْمَنَامِ ذَبْحَ إِسْحَاقَ سَارَ بِهِ مِنْ مَنْزِلِهِ إِلَى الْمَنْحَرِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ فِي غَدَاةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَلَمَّا صُرِفَ عَنْهُ الذَّبْحُ وَأُمِرَ بِذَبْحِ الْكَبْشِ ذَبَحَهُ ثُمَّ رَاحَ بِهِ رَوَاحًا إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ فِي عَشِيَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ؛ هُوِّنَتْ لَهُ الْأَوْدِيَةُ وَالْجِبَالُ»
