ahmad-zuhd:340ʿAbdullāh > Bī > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Wahb > al-Khaḍir Limūsá Ḥīn Laqiyah Yā Mūsá b. ʿImrān Ānziʿ

[Machine] Al-Khidr said to Musa when he met him, "O Musa, son of Imran, remove any argumentation and do not walk without need, and do not laugh without amazement. Stay at your home and weep over your sin."  

الزهد لأحمد:٣٤٠حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَهْبًا يَقُولُ قَالَ

الْخَضِرُ لِمُوسَى حِينَ لَقِيَهُ يَا مُوسَى بْنَ عِمْرَانَ انْزِعْ عَنِ اللَّجَاجَةِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي غَيْرِ حَاجَةٍ وَلَا تَضْحَكْ مِنْ غَيْرِ عَجَبٍ وَالْزَمْ بَيْتَكَ وَابْكِ عَلَى خَطِيئَتِكَ
