الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٧٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي سَمِعْتُ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ بِلَالَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يَقُولُ «وَاللَّهِ لَكَفَى بِهِ ذَنْبًا

أَنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ يُزَهِّدُنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَنَحْنُ نَرْغَبُ فِيهَا فَزَاهِدُكُمْ رَاغِبٌ وَعَالِمُكُمْ جَاهِلٌ وعَابِدُكُمْ مُقَصِّرٌ»
