ahmad-zuhd:2173ʿAbdullāh from my father > Abū Muʿāwiyah > Hishām from his father

[Machine] "If one of you dedicates something to Allah, let him not withhold anything that he feels ashamed to offer to His Noble Being, for verily Allah is the Most Generous of the generous and the most deserving of those chosen for dedication."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١٧٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«إِذَا جَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ لِلَّهِ ﷻ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَا يَسْتَحِي أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ لِكَرِيمِهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ أَكْرَمُ الْكُرَمَاءِ وَأَحَقُّ مَنْ اخْتِيرَ لَهُ»
