الزهد لأحمد:٢١١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ قَالَ كُنَّا نُجَالِسُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ فَإِنْ جَاءَ إِنْسَانٌ فَأَلْقَى حَدِيثًا مِنْ حَدِيثِ النَّاسِ قَالَ

«يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ لَيْسَ لِهَذَا جَلَسْنَا»
