ahmad-zuhd:2114ʿAbdullāh from my father > Yaḥyá b. Ādam > Musāfir al-Jaṣṣāṣ

[Machine] Ibrahim used to call out, saying, "O Allah, protect me with Your Book and the Sunnah of Your Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from differences in the truth, and from following desires without guidance from You, and from the path of misguidance, and from doubtful matters, and from deviance, perplexity, and disputes."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١١٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَافِرٌ الْجَصَّاصُ قَالَ

كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ «اللَّهُمَّ اعْصِمْنِي بِكِتَابِكَ وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ مِنِ اخْتِلَافٍ فِي الْحَقِّ وَمِنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْهَوَى بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِنْكَ وَمِنْ سَبِيلِ الضَّلَالِ وَمِنْ شُبُهَاتِ الْأُمُورِ وَمِنِ الزَّيْغِ وَاللَّبْسِ وَالْخُصُومَاتِ»
