[Machine] As if he was a fledgling and his wife was calling him, my family, we sacrifice for you, what shall we feed you? What shall we give you to drink? He responded to her with a faint voice, "The wild camel has fled and the raid has been lengthy, and I do not wish for Allah to deprive me of even a small amount of it."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٨٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلُوا عَلَى سُوَيْدِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ وَقَدْ صَارَ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ

كَأَنَّهُ فَرْخٌ وَامْرَأَتُهُ تُنَادِيهِ أَهْلِي فِدَاؤُكَ مَا نُطْعِمُكَ؟ مَا نَسْقِيكَ؟ قَالَ فَأَجَابَهَا بِصَوْتٍ يَعْنِي خَفِيٍّ «دَبِرَتِ الْحَرَاقِفُ وطَالَتِ الضِّجْعَةُ وَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ نَقَصَنِي مِنْهُ قُلَامَةَ ظُفْرٍ»
