[Machine] Masrooq used to ride his mule every Friday and he would carry me behind him. Then he would come to an old market in Giza and place his mule on it and say "The world is beneath us."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٣٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ قَالَ

كَانَ مَسْرُوقٌ يَرْكَبُ كُلَّ جُمُعَةٍ بَغْلَةً لَهُ وَيَحْمِلُنِي خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي كُنَاسَةً بِالْجِيزَةِ قَدِيمَةٍ فَيَجْعَلُ عَلَيْهَا بَغْلَتَهُ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «الدُّنْيَا تَحْتَنَا»
