[Machine] The spring came after its rain, and it was being guided between two men to his people's mosque. The companions of Abdullah would say, "O Abu Yazid, permission has been granted to you to pray in your house." He would reply, "Indeed, it is as you say, but I heard him calling out 'Hayya 'ala al-Falah' (come to success), so whoever hears it from you, let him respond even if he had to crawl or crawl on his knees."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٩٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ حَيَّانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

كَانَ الرَّبِيعُ بَعْدَمَا سَقَطَ شِقُّهُ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ رَجُلَيْنِ إِلَى مَسْجِدِ قَوْمِهِ وَكَانَ أَصْحَابُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُونَ يَا أَبَا يَزِيدَ قَدْ رُخِّصَ لَكَ لَوْ صَلَّيْتَ فِي بَيْتِكَ فَيَقُولُ إِنَّهُ كَمَا تَقُولُونَ وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يُنَادِي حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَمَنْ سَمِعَهُ مِنْكُمْ يُنَادِي حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ فَلْيُجِبْهُ وَلَوْ زَحْفًا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا
