[Machine] "When Abdullah would come, he would not seek permission from anyone until each of them finished their conversation with their companion. He would say, 'If the Prophet ﷺ saw you, he would love you, and I have never seen you except that it reminded me of the ones in seclusion.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٨٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ إِذَا أَتَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ إِذْنٌ لِأَحَدٍ حَتَّى يَفْرُغَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مِنْ صَاحِبِهِ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ «لَوْ رَآكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَأَحَبَّكَ وَمَا رَأَيْتُكَ إِلَّا ذَكَرْتُ الْمُخْبِتِينَ»
