[Machine] I do not like when a servant addresses their Lord by saying, "My Lord, you have decided mercy upon yourself, thus, you have delayed it" and I have not seen anyone saying, "My Lord, I have fulfilled what was upon me, so fulfill what is upon you."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٨٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي يَعْلَى عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ

مَا أُحِبُّ مُنَاشَدَةَ الْعَبْدِ رَبَّهُ ﷻ بِقَوْلِهِ رَبِّ قَضَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ الرَّحْمَةَ قَضَيْتَ عَلَى نَفْسِكَ كَذَا يَسْتَبْطِئُ وَمَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا يَقُولُ رَبِّ قَدْ أَدَّيْتُ مَا عَلَيَّ فَأَدِّ مَا عَلَيْكَ
