[Machine] I passed by the blacksmiths to imitate them, but I had no good in me.  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٨٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ مَرَّ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ فِي الْحَدَّادِينَ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى كِيرٍ قَالَ وصَعِقَ قَالَ

الْأَعْمَشُ «فَمَرَرْتُ بِالْحَدَّادِينَ لِأَتَشَبَّهَ بِهِ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ عِنْدِي خَيْرٌ»
