[Machine] Rabi' bin Khuthaym used to be followed by a young man from the neighborhood on Fridays. When he would go, the young man would say with his hand, "I seek refuge in Allah from your evil."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٦٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ سَمَّاهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ

كَانَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ يَتْبَعُهُ شَابٌّ مِنَ الْحَيِّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِذَا رَاحَ فَيَقُولُ بِيَدِهِ «أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّكُمْ»
