[Machine] "Perhaps we taught him poetry in the evening, and he was abundantly expressive, then he wakes up and the sign remains as it is, so we recognize that spring did not lay its side on its bed at night."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٩٢٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ الْأَصَمُّ الْحِمَّانِيُّ عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ الرَّبِيعِ قَالَ

«رُبَّمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ شَعْرَهَ عِنْدَ الْمَسَاءِ وَكَانَ ذَا وَفْرَةٍ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ وَالْعَلَامَةُ كَمَا هِيَ فَنَعْرِفُ أَنَّ الرَّبِيعَ لَمْ يَضَعْ جَنْبَهُ لَيْلَهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ»
