[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no servant who delivers a sermon except that Allah ﷻ will question him about it on the Day of Resurrection, asking him what he intended by it." Ja'far said, "Whenever Malik narrated this hadith, he would cry until tears fell, and then he would say, 'They think that my eyes find pleasure in my words, but I know that Allah will question me on the Day of Resurrection about what I intended.'"  

الزهد لأحمد:١٨٨٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَةً إِلَّا اللَّهُ ﷻ سَائِلُهُ عَنْهَا مَا أَرَادَ بِهَا؟ فَقَالَ جَعْفَرٌ كَانَ مَالِكٌ إِذَا حَدَّثَنَا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ بَكَى حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّ عَيْنِي تَقَرُّ بِكَلَامِي وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَائِلِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا أَرَدْتَ بِهِ؟
