ahmad-zuhd:1847ʿAbdullāh from my father > ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Mālik

[Machine] Ata ibn Yassar said, "Your religion is your religion. I do not advise you regarding your worldly affairs, as you are diligent in pursuing them and you are already knowledgeable in them."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٨٤٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكًا قَالَ

قَالَ عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ «دِينَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ لَا أُوصِيكُمْ بِدُنْيَاكُمْ أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهَا حُرَّاصٌ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا مُسْتَوْصُونَ»
