[Machine] Abu al-Sawwar al-Adawi was in a gathering discussing knowledge. He said, "Say: Glory be to Allah and praise be to Allah." Then a young boy said, "In what context were we then?"  

الزهد لأحمد:١٨٤٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ شَوْذَبَ قَالَ

كَانَ أَبُو السَّوَّارِ الْعَدَوِيُّ فِي حَلْقَةٍ يَتَذَاكَرُ فِيهَا الْعِلْمَ قَالَ وَمَعَهُمْ فَتًى شَابٌّ فَقَالَ قُولُوا سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ قَالَ فَغَضِبَ أَبُو السَّوَّارِ فَقَالَ وَيْحَكَ فِي أَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنَّا إِذًا؟
