الزهد لأحمد:١٨٢٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ سُرَيْجٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَّجِرُ فَيُصِيبُ الْمَالَ فَيُفَرِّقَهُ عَلَى الْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ يَقُولُ «لَوْلَاهُمْ مَا اتَّجَرْتُ»
