ahmad-zuhd:1752ʿAbdullāh > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿUmar al-Qawārīrī > Jaʿfar > Ibrāhīm b. ʿĪsá

[Machine] Bakr ibn Abdullah Al-Muzani said, "Who is like you, O son of Adam? Stay between yourself and the prayer mat and the water. Whenever you wish, you can approach Allah, and there is no translator between you and Him."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٧٥٢حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عِيسَى قَالَ

قَالَ بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ «مَنْ مِثْلُكَ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ خُلِّيَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الْمِحْرَابِ وَالْمَاءِ كُلَّمَا شِئْتَ دَخَلْتَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ تُرْجُمَانٌ»
