الزهد لأحمد:١٧٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ فِي جِنَازَةٍ فَسَمِعْنَا صَوْتَ قَاصٍّ قَدْ ارْتَفَعَ صَوْتُ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ

أَبُو قِلَابَةَ «إِنْ كَانُوا لَيُعَظِّمُونَ الْمَوْتَ بِالسَّكِينَةِ»
