[Machine] That the throes of death may be made easier for me, for it is the last thing that a Muslim can be expiated for.

الزهد لأحمد:١٧١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ

«مَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ تُهَوَّنَ عَلَيَّ سَكَرَاتُ الْمَوْتِ إِنَّهُ آخِرُ مَا يُكَفَّرُ بِهِ عَنِ الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ»
