الزهد لأحمد:١٧٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْجُعْفِيُّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ذَرٍّ قَالَ

«مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَخْوَفَ لِلَّهِ ﷻ مِنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ»
