[Machine] "Such as what is in it, there is no nation of Muhammad ﷺ in the east of the earth or its west, except that I want to fulfill its right, not as a writer to me in it or a student of mine, meaning Umar bin Abdul Aziz."

الزهد لأحمد:١٦٩٦ – حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ مَوْلًى لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ حِينَ رَجَعَ مِنْ جِنَازَةِ سُلَيْمَانَ مَا لِي أَرَاكَ مُغْتَمًّا؟ فَقَالَ

«لِمِثْلِ مَا فِيهِ يُغْتَمُّ لَيْسَ مِنْ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ فِي مَشْرِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَلَا مَغْرِبِهَا إِلَّا وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُؤَدِّيَ إِلَيْهِ حَقَّهُ غَيْرَ كَاتِبٍ إِلَيَّ فِيهِ وَلَا طَالِبِهِ مِنِّي يَعْنِي عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ»
