الزهد لأحمد:١٥٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمِصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ لَقِيتُ وَهْبَ بْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ بِالْمَوْسِمِ فَقَالَ لِي أَلَكَ عَهْدٌ بِالْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ؟ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ نَعَمْ فَقَالَ هَلْ أَنْكَرْتُمْ مِنْ عَقْلِهِ [218] شَيْئًا؟ فَقَالَ لَا فَقَالَ وَهْبٌ إِنَّا لَنُحَدَّثُ أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي الْكُتُبِ

«أَنَّهُ مَا أُوتِيَ عَبْدٌ عِلْمًا فَسَلَكَهُ فِي سَبِيلِ هُدًى فَيَسْلُبُهُ اللَّهُ عَقْلَهُ أَبَدًا»
