[Machine] I have seen people to whom the worldly life is presented as permissible, yet they do not pursue it and say, "We do not know what our situation will be in it."

الزهد لأحمد:١٤٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ

لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أُنَاسًا تُعْرَضُ لِأَحَدِهِمُ الدُّنْيَا حَلَالًا فَلَا يَتَّبِعُونَهَا يَقُولُونَ مَا نَدْرِي مَا حَالُنَا فِيهَا
