[Machine] The people started talking among themselves and said, "Indeed, when a person is afflicted with a disease, his good deeds are raised for him while he is still healthy until he is lifted up." A Muslim said, "This is not how we used to hear, but what is raised for him is the best of what he used to do until he is lifted up."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٩٨حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا صَاحِبًا لَنَا نَعُودُهُ مَرِيضًا قَالَ

فَتَحَدَّثَ النَّاسُ بَيْنَهُمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ إِذَا احْتُبِسَ بِمَرَضٍ رُفِعَ لَهُ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُ وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ حَتَّى يُرْفَعَ فَقَالَ مُسْلِمٌ لَيْسَ هَكَذَا كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ وَلَكِنْ يُرْفَعُ لَهُ أَحْسَنُ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُ حَتَّى يُرْفَعَ
