[Machine] Ghunaym ibn Qays said to me, "In the early days of Islam, we used to advise each other with four things: work in your free time for your occupation, work on your health for when you are sick, work on your youth for when you grow old, and work on your life for your death."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٧٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَنْبَأَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ غُنَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسٍ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ قَالَ

قَالَ لِي غُنَيْمُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ كُنَّا نَتَوَاعَظُ فِي أَوَّلِ الْإِسْلَامِ بِأَرْبَعَةٍ اعْمَلْ فِي فَرَاغِكَ لِشُغْلِكَ وَاعْمَلْ فِي صِحَّتِكَ لِسَقَمِكَ وَاعْمَلْ فِي شَبَابِكَ لِكِبَرِكَ وَاعْمَلْ فِي حَيَاتِكَ لِمَوْتِكَ
